ENJOYMENT TAKES TIME

Because we love craftsmanship and the smell of coffee, we always dedicate all our energy and passion to our Slow Roasting philosophy. Just like craft roasters, we use the slow and gentle drum roasting process to extract the characteristic aromas of the finest coffee varieties from all over the world. Using these aromas, we create refined, full-bodied coffees for unique moments of enjoyment.

CRAFTSMANSHIP FOR ALL FIVE SENSES

The heat in the drum roaster is gently increased. There it is! After about 10 minutes, you’ll hear a noise: Crackles. Pops. This is what’s known as the first crack. The coffee beans are reacting to the heat, and you can hear it. Now the first phase of roasting is completed and the roasting master decides, based on experience and feel, how much heat and time is still necessary for the desired roasting result—from light to dark. We roast the beans for up to about 13 minutes.
